Derby County in the Community Volunteering Opportunities
Derby County in the Community (DCITC) is a not for profit making organisation that achieved charitable trust status in 2008. The scheme is primarily aimed at creating, developing and delivering opportunities for children and adults to participate in high quality physical activities irrespective of age, gender, ability, ethnicity and social circumstance. There are a number of volunteering opportunities for Derbyshire Sport Leadership Academy members. If you would like to express an interest please click here.
This website has been developed to provide you with information, support, opportunities and incentives for volunteering across Derbyshire.
You
Being part of the Academy you have your own online account that will allow you to record and monitor all of your volunteering hours across many different activities. You also will also be able to search for bolt on courses, level one and two courses in all sports in your local area and county wide.
Rewards
As you accumulate more hours you become eligible for exclusive Derbyshire Leadership Academy rewards, supplied by Kukri, that relate to the number of hours you have successfully volunteered for!
Opportunities
Unique volunteering opportunities across the county will be posted on this site when they are available; you will be the first to access this information and only be able to contact the organisers by being an academy member.
